Powercell can provide whatever battery topping systems you require to check, monitor, top up, and maintain your battery. From simple battery watering equipment through to fully automated battery topping systems, we have it all. They are available as complete systems or as spare or replacement parts.
LED Blinkies from Powercell can be used for checking the water level on your battery. So you can know, at a glance, whether your battery needs to be topped up or not. These are low cost units that can be fitted to your battery. It is literally a glance to see if the green LED is blinking or it has turned to red - no more flipping of lids with goggles and gloves on to see the level; so much quicker and safer too.
Battery Watering no longer means using a funnel; several levels of automation are available.
The Flexi Topper is a pressurised feed container that be operated by a few pumps of a handle and then you’re away. The Flexi Topper has a flexible hose with a controllable nozzle to allow you to accurately top your battery to the correct level, allowing you to keep your battery in tip top condition. The Flexi Topper is also available to use with the automatic topping system BFS (see BFS below). They are light weight and very easy to use and we always carry these in stock for quick delivery.
If pumping a handle a few times is a bit much, then the BattCart is the battery watering system for you. We would recommend this option for 5 or more batteries. 
The BattCart is a powered version of the Flexi Topper on wheels. The power comes from a rechargeable battery supply built in and powers a pump to supply the nozzle. There are 2 nozzles available: one for Automatic battery topping up BFS (see BFS below) and an automatic cut off nozzle for standard battery watering. The nozzle for standard batteries allows you top the battery to the correct level by adjusting the collar on the nozzle to the correct depth. When you insert the nozzle into the battery, the water is pumped into the battery until the nozzle senses the water and cuts off the supply. The BattCart is a durable reliable battery operated machine to aid you to top your batteries at any location on site. In our experience, correctly watered and maintained batteries will give you a longer service life.
BFS is an Automatic battery topping system that links all cells on your battery together with piping; allowing the water to be pumped to the cells without opening the vent caps. This allows for accurate battery topping with no flipping of lids or splashing of water and acid. The BFS caps are all piped through to a single inlet and you connect your BattCart or Flexi Topper. Set the BattCart of Flexi Topper going to top the complete battery in seconds, safely and accurately every time The BFS caps are specifically set up for each battery size with different floats to ensure only the correct amount of water is added to the battery and that the battery is not over topped. With accurate battery topping from BFS, your battery will be healthy to deliver for years of service.
Battery Water can be supplied readymade or we can offer several options to make your own de-ionised water upon demand. Carboys of water can be supplied in multiples of 25 litres.
